This is it! The end of a year-long run of Serena Williams for OPI nail polishes that launched to coincide with all of the major tennis tournaments. I’ll really miss her fun spin on color, and unconventional ways of pairing up textures and tones—and she made them all work! This duo is the U.S. Glam Slam! Collection, and they’re the final two lacquers in the series.
“OPI and Serena return to our home country for the final launch with two bright, feminine lacquers,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “Packed with red and gold micas for intense luster, the Glam Slam! series finishes with two classic, glamorous colors.”
Pros & Bronze is a glittering bronze with hints of rose glitter. This is in a clear base and may require 2-3 coats for full coverage. The two shades definitely make a nice contrast.
Love is a Racket is a bright, shimmering cherry red that reminds me of Nicole by OPI’s I Love You Cherry Much. Two coats delivers perfect opacity.
Layering Pros & Bronze over Love is a Racket works well too! Just make sure your base color is mostly dry first, so the glitter doesn’t streak across your base color.
What’s next for OPI? The Muppets Collection! I personally cannot wait!
