Review & Swatches: Benefit Ticket to Glossytown Lip Gloss Collection

I swear I tried to avoid a “Funkytown” reference here, but I couldn’t resist! Benefit’s Ticket to Glossytown is just that, your ticket to glossy lips in six perfect for anytime shades—ready for holiday gifting.

The glosses are mini, but the shades are mighty! All have a little bit of shimmer and some are a little more pigmented than others, but they all feature plenty o’ shine.

So Frisk Me — gilded berry
Nudie-Tude — goldspun twist
Spiked Punch — juicy coral
Life on the A List — pale bubblegum pink
Foxy Lady — diamond rose
Kiss You — violet-fuchsia

I tried to find fault with these little babies, and aside from the fact that they weigh in at just .1 oz. each—I couldn’t! There’s a slight fragrance to them, almost like a muted fruit punch, but I didn’t detect anything once applied. They all feel nice and comfy on my lips, but I could feel the glitter in Nudie-Tude (when I couldn’t feel the shimmer in the other shades). Not anything bad there—just thought I would mention it.

Often when I receive gloss sets, I find one or two shades I like and the rest I give away. I was surprised that I actually liked ALL of the shades in Ticket to Glossytown! Especially Spiked Punch and Kiss You, and that’s saying something because I thought those were the two I would like least.

This one gets the thumbs up for holiday gifting!

I love that there’s a good variety of colours in this set. A great way to try out Benefit glosses!

My mom has been wanting to know what I want for Christmas, so I will for sure ask this for a stocking stuffer :)

Love these! My fave is Nudie-tude but they are all great and super shiny. I didn’t find them that pigmented, but when you layer them over lip sticks that’s where the real magic comes from.

Check out my review on them!
