As much as I love bringing you posts on the latest beauty products and color trends, I have to say—this is my favorite kind of piece to share with you. I know times are hard, and many of you are stressed to the hilt. I know you’re struggling to make ends meet, and the thought of having an expensive luxury beauty treatment brings about both pangs of longing and guilt. These aren’t exactly simple times.
One posh spa in Los Angeles recognizes the struggles many of you are facing today, and they want to bring a little spa relief your way! I’m proud to say that on January 23rd, the OleHenriksen Face/Body Spa in my own fair city will offer lavish spa treatments to those who have fallen on hard times. 100 unemployed Los Angeles County residents will benefit from Ole’s ‘Day of Giving‘, in which the selected recipients can receive one of Ole’s signature beauty services, on the house. Also on-hand, the local Dress for Success branch will offer their support to those in-need of services.
In times of economic crisis, I think it’s really important that communities stand together to lend each other a hand—in fact—I wish I were receiving more information like this from brands that I could pass on to you in other cities! If you’re an unemployed L.A. County resident, and you’re struggling—please see the requirements below for how you can submit your information to be considered for a complimentary beauty service at OleHenriksen Face/Body Spa on W. Sunset during their ‘Day of Giving’.

To enter for a chance to receive a complimentary service, applicants should send an email describing their personal journey through unemployment to OHSpaDay@olehenriksen.com by December 18th. Winners will be randomly selected and notified on January 6th.
To enter for a chance to win, you must be 21 years or older, a current resident of Los Angeles County, and unemployed. Submissions must include the following information:
- First name
- Last Name
- Address
- Date of birth
- Phone number
- Email address
- Choice of service (not guaranteed; massage, facial, Fresh Start manicure & pedicure, or hydrotherapy soak)
- Date that you lost your employment
- Tell us your story in in 500 words or less. Please include information displaying why you could really use a legendary OleHenriksen service. Example—why/how you lost your job, how it affected your life, the changes you had to make, the stress it brought to you—and how a service at the OleHenriksen Face/Body Spa could brighten your day.
