Say hello to a few of the newest nail polish shades from China Glaze! They hail from the brand’s upcoming ElectroPop Collection, officially in stores next month. With a rainbow of punchy, vibrant colors, ElectroPop is comprised of 12 new shades. While I’ve only had the chance to test five, there’s plenty more where these came from—check ’em out!
One of the first things I noticed was the flow of the polish. I didn’t experience any issues while laying it down, and two coats delivered the perfect opacity in the shades I tried. They all self-leveled nicely, and I found the dry time to be about normal. I’m wearing Electric Beat right now, so I’m still investigating staying power, but I have to admit that China Glaze is one of the few brands that actually stays on my nails for the week while taking quite a beating.
See swatches, more photos, and the shade breakdown…
Electric Beat is a periwinkle cream.
Dance Baby is a cotton candy pink cream.
Gothic Lolita is a slightly shimmering grape shade.
Make Some Noise is a tangerine cream.
Sunshine Pop is bright yellow with a touch of shimmer.
It’s really hard to pick my favorite of the bunch, but I have to say it would be Electric Beat. What’s yours?
Random Factoid: Ever since I first laid eyes on ElectroPop, I swear I can’t get this Gwen Stefani jam out of my head:
Bottom Line: The shades I tried from the ElectroPop Collection pass with flying colors! Great coverage in two coats, a selection of fun and punchy colors, and the perfect polish flow makes these winners in my book.
