In the past year, I’ve grown pretty fond of IT Cosmetics. This line of innovative makeup has produced some real winners—like their Bye Bye Pores finishing powder, and their super famous Bye Bye Under Eye concealer. If you haven’t tried those products yet, you really should! Now, they’re taking a different approach when it comes to the way you look at eyeshadow.

Have you ever dreamt about a truly long-wearing eyeshadow that doesn’t crease or fade? You’re not alone, we’ve all been there! But what if I told you that I tried out a new trio that’s a total game-changer? IT Cosmetics has now produced a few new shades in their lineup of Luxe Anti-Aging Eyeshadows, and I tried out one of their latest combos, Pretty in Smoke. Check it out…

Pretty in Smoke is comprised of three shades that I think almost anyone could wear; Angel Kiss (soft light pink), Sunset Smoke (neutral beige smoke), and Graphite (rich grey satin). The texture of these shadows is PHENOMENAL, and the pigments are just right. All three shades are talc-free, and if there ever were an eyeshadow that was hydrating, a Luxe trio from IT would be it!

There are two things I really love most about this formula; they are incredibly durable when it comes to wear-time, and they also contain elements of skincare products—but for your lids. The Luxe trios contain green tea extract, hydrolized collagen, Vitamins A, C, and E—and even the super-charged antioxidant, acai. To be perfectly honest, I don’t really know what anti-aging effects these will actually have on your eyelids, but the skin is pretty delicate and it doesn’t hurt to try. Especially since treating your eyes with TLC is important, and when it’s to start blending—these blend pretty well!

Hmm…see the shade directly above this? Doesn’t Sunset Smoke look like it’s in the same family as NARS’ Lhasa? That earns Pretty in Smoke more kudos. Even more kudos for the fact that the Luxe trios are waterproof!

I also tried their No-Tug Heavenly Luxe Shadow Brush, and it made applying the Luxe shadows even easier. This dual-sided brush features fibers that glide, and not drag across the skin. One side is a densely packed smudger brush, while the opposite features a crease brush.

Bottom Line: I think the Luxe Anti-Aging shadow trios are perfect for those who are struggling to keep shadow on creased lids, and the No-Tug Heavenly Luxe brush is an essential player for the perfect application.
