I’ve been really good about not falling in love with facial cleansers because it seems like every time I love one, it gets discontinued. Therefore, for the last several years my relationship with my face suds has been strictly platonic.  Good morning, wash my face. Good night, wash my face.  Nothing more. Sometimes I don’t even take my facial cleanser when I travel; I just use what is in the hotel. Why? Because I never know when I’ll go to the store to buy a new bottle AND IT WILL BE GONE. It will have left me with no Dear John note, no reason. It will just up and disappear.

But now I think I’ve fallen in love again and this time I’ve fallen HARD!

The name of my new facial suitor is Aveeno Positively Ageless Exfoliating Cleanser

This unique daily cleanser with Natural Shiitake Complex helps my skin look and feel younger. The light foaming, soap-free formula cleanses and softens skin, while lifting away dirt, oil, and make-up without over-drying my sensitive skin. Extra fine micro-beads gently remove dull, dry skin to help reveal a healthier, more youthful complexion.

I love this stuff for a thousand reasons, but the bottom line is: it is the most balanced cleanser I’ve come across in a long time. It is rich, yet lightweight.  It has the perfect amount of grit in it to that gives me a nice, clean finish but it doesn’t rub my face raw.  My favorite thing of all is the scent—it has a whisper of fragrance that just reminds me of a sunny afternoon.  On late, lazy nights when I don’t feel like taking off my eye make-up separately I’ve used this on my whole face and everything comes off leaving just a squeaky clean mug staring back at me in the mirror.

So, thank you Aveeno. I’ve learned to love again!

    I meant to
say this product. I have dry, mature skin. Could really use an exfoliation product to remove dry, dead skin cells.

Hi Cynthia, while we hope to have an Aveeno giveaway soon, these aren’t up for grabs at this time. Sorry!
