Review & Swatches: Pixi Beauty PixiGlow Tinkerbell Fairy Face Palette

Perk up with this perfect palette for spring from Pixi!

A whole face in a case, this palette is inspired by budding roses, berry nectars, and dew at dawn. The lush shades are universally flattering and perfectly pigmented.

All 3 shades together (top), then each shade in the mosaic separately

Adorned with everone’s favorite pixie, Tinkerbell, the Fairy Face Palette is home to five eyeshadows, five lip creams, and a blush mosaic that has three shades. (You can swirl all the shades together, or use them individually.) You can add a twinkle to your eyes, and brighten up your lips and cheeks, for a flawless fairy face.

Bottom Line…

This is a charming little palette, but I’d have to say that the lip creams are my favorite part. That’s kind of odd for me, as typically I don’t care much for lip colors in palettes; they wind up being too hard, too soft, or too close to the powder products (which ends up ruining the lippies). These are off to the right side and far enough away from the eyeshadows to keep fallout away. The eyeshadows are beautiful and perfectly pigmented, but I noticed that I got a good amount of fallout with them. Try tapping the excess off your brush before applying, and it should help! These are all nice and neutral shades that are really flattering to the skin, and don’t give the appearance of being too made up.
