Do not attempt to adjust your monitors, it really is spelled ‘güd‘! Luckily, all of the products I’ve tried so far from this new bath & body line are all extra, extra good. Burt’s Bees is steppin’ out into new territory with Güd; it’s a little less serious, a lot more fun, and the fragrances smell INCREDIBLE. Don’t believe me? So far, the line has three core fragrances; Orange Petalpalooza, Floral Cherrynova, and Vanilla Flame—however Paula told me about a Target-exclusive scent, Pearanormal Activity. Each fragrance has several types of products, in which you’ll find a Natural Body Mist, Body Lotion, Body Butter, Shower Gel, Hand Wash, Shampoo, and Conditioner. So far, I’ve tried Orange Petalpalooza Natural Body Mist ($6), Floral Cherrynova Shower Gel ($7), and the Vanilla Flame Body Lotion ($7)…and let me tell you! The number of times a day I spray the body mist on myself should be illegal. If you like blood orange, you’re going to love the way it smells—it’s really crisp and fresh, and it perks me up when I feel like I’m in a little bit of a slump.
I also appreciated the Vanilla Flame and Floral Cherrynova fragrances, they lack that cloying synthetic fragrance, I think they definitely smell a little more authentic. I would say that these fragrances are not for the meek—while they don’t overpower a room, you’ll definitely know they’re there! According to Güd, all of the products are paraben, phthalate, and petrochemical-free. If you like good things, you need a little Güd in your life!
