Over the past week, I’ve become borderline OBSESSED with this new product from St. Ives. Their Scrub-Free Exfoliating Pads contain fruit-based alpha hydroxy acids to gently exfoliate the skin, gradually. While a week hasn’t been long enough to see a dramatic difference, I can tell good stuff is happening! They make my skin feel pretty smooth, and after using at night—my face feels fresh and clean, but not that dry and tight kind of clean which some AHA’s can cause.
These aren’t as strong as more clinical lines (that are also WAY more expensive), so somewhat sensitive skin will hopefully be able to tolerate these a little bit better. I’m a big believer in the power of AHA’s, they help to exfoliate and refine the skin’s texture; lessening fine lines and clearing out gunked up pores. The fruit acids in these moist Stridex-like pads are 100% naturally derived, and the product is paraben free which may make a big difference for some. They totally smell like blueberries and lemon, and are a complete STEAL for about $4.99!
