I have been in MASSIVE spring cleaning mode over the past few weeks, cleaning out every nook and cranny I can find! The Intense Stain Dissolving Strips are pretty easy to use. One thing I thought was really smart, was that the strip only comes in one size, but that they are made to work on both the top and bottom teeth. I can’t forget to point out two important things; you’ll want to make sure that you don’t accidentally get the inside of the strip stuck on the inside of your lips during application, and you won’t want to run your tongue along them either. In those two areas, you will likely experience some irritation or sensitivity. One night, I was being kind of sloppy when applying them, and I got the inside of the strip caught on my lower lip—which inevitably led to irritation. It didn’t last long, but I wanted to make sure to point it out to you.
I was a few days in before I started to see a result, thanks to my coffee and Diet Coke habits! Several days later was when I noticed a dramatic difference. I’m sorry I didn’t include before & after shots, but to be honest…I’m kind of uncomfortable showing the internet my teeth that close up!
Bottom Line…
It was on day 6 that I started to see a gradual brightening in my smile. I’m on day 11 of 14 now, and it has gotten brighter since then. I like the dissolving strip idea, I just wish it didn’t take two weeks to see full results. On the other hand, spending 5-10 minutes, twice a day isn’t all that bad! You just pop these on, and forget about them—they’re a complete no-brainer. This is an affordable way to maintain your bright smile at home, and just like switching out your wardrobe for the change in seasons—except a bright smile is always in style!
