Last week, I attended an amazing press conference for Alicia Silverstone’s new line for Juice Beauty—and I honestly couldn’t have been more impressed with what I saw! The line consists of five essential products; a cleanser, moisturizer, cream blush/highlighter stick, lipstick, and a pressed facial touch-up powder. In typical Juice Beauty style, each product is made with certified organic ingredients, they’re vegan, and packed with antioxidants for optimal skin health.
“I’m so proud to launch the Alicia Silverstone for Juice Beauty Collection. I’m grateful to have found a partner in Juice Beauty, whose commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious business practices are extraordinary. Our shared vision was to create a natural and organic, cruelty-free, beauty collection that are more luscious and better for you than conventional beauty products.” —Alicia Silverstone
I was able to try all five products—but I’m not quite ready to offer a full review on the skincare products yet, as I’m currently testing another line and have only used the cleanser and moisturizer three times. I’m obsessed with two of the other products, however—so let’s check them out!
Irresistible Glow Facial Highlighter
Purely Kissable Lip Color
Irresistible Glow Facial Highlighter & Purely Kissable Lip Color
These two products are total winners in my opinion! Both the Irresistible Glow Facial Highlighter and Purely Kissable Lip Color are so creamy to the touch, and feel great on the skin—so hydrating! Both of the products’ pigments are derived from berries, and contain organic oils of sunflower seed and sesame seed as part of their bases. Both also contain shea butter, and organic champagne grape seed oil, which makes them feel so luxurious!
The lipstick applies as a light mauve-pink that has medium coverage, and is slightly build-able. The facial highlighter doubles as a cheek color and highlighting stick, and blends effortlessly into the skin.

Simply Flawless Pressed Powder
Inside the Simply Flawless Pressed Powder
The Simply Flawless Pressed Powder is a smooth and velvety touch-up powder that’s almost transparent when lightly dusted on with a brush. It doesn’t impart a lot of color, but it might not be a good fit for those with medium-dark to dark skin tones. It is slightly matte, but not so matte that it looks chalky! I’m in a catch-22 with the pressed powder, because the very same things I love about it may be contributing to what I don’t love about it. It’s velvety soft and smooth to the touch from the ingredients (noteably tapioca, minerals, and essential oils), that I think it’s so soft, it gets a little too powdery when I lightly use a brush on it. See why I’m torn? It’s still a nice and luxe product to use, just make sure that you apply it over the sink, because you might experience some fallout.

I applied a concentrated amount of this product to the inside of my very pale arm in an effort to try to show you the color, but on my face—it’s nearly transparent when lightly dusted on with a brush. My face isn’t the same shade as the inside of my arm—I tend to be an NW20, depending on the product. This is definitely a closer match to my face than my arm!
Simply Pure Chamomile Cleanser
Simply Nourishing Facial Moisturizer
I’m not able to offer you a full review of the Simply Pure Chamomile Cleanser or Simply Nourishing Moisturizer, as I’ve only used them a few times. What I can tell you, is that both have an amazing nearly therapeutic aroma that smells like soothing essential oils. The cleanser is a gel that feels very gentle, and I don’t experience any tightness in my skin after I use it. The moisturizer is rich—but it actually absorbs into my skin very nicely. I thought I would be a greaseball while wearing it, but not so! On the few occasions I’ve worn it, it seems like it actually balanced my skin instead. Additionally, my skin doesn’t really do well with Vitamin C (the moisturizer contains it), but so far I haven’t had any adverse reaction to it—and that surprised me!
Wearing Irresistible Glow Facial Highlighter, Purely Kissable Lip Color, and a little bit of the Simply Flawless Pressed Powder on my most oily areas.
Bottom Line…
This is a lovely collection that Alicia and Juice Beauty collaborated on, displaying their similar eco values, but the products still remain functional. All of the packaging is comprised of at least 90% post-consumer recycled materials and can all be recycled again. It’s nice to see that Juice Beauty has stayed true to their core beliefs after eight years on the consumer market. I’m impressed! If you’d like to start being more eco conscious—or remain on the path—Juice Beauty is a great place to start. I’m in love with the Irresistible Glow Facial Highlighter!
