Even with the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival happening half a world away this week, look no further than the forever-glamorous American icon and star of the silver screen, Marilyn Monroe as the face of this year’s festival. Fifty years after her passing, she still stands the test of time, and truly remains relevant. The festival honors her this year for her eternal contributions in cinema.

Not only was she captivating, but she was absolutely STUNNING, a real-life beauty icon, if you will. And it was no secret that she relied heavily on a strict beauty regimen from the progenitor of modern skincare as we know it today, Dr. Erno Laszlo.

Wherever Marilyn went, those signature Laszlo bottles were never far behind!

Here’s an interesting factoid…

  • Dr. Erno Laszlo specifically created pHormula No. 3-8 for the blonde bombshell to use on her scar (the well-known one from an abdomen surgery, which was very famously and proudly photographed). The new pHormula No. 3-9 is the updated version of the product with the latest innovative technology—and it’s on the market for consumers today.

But that’s not where the Laszlo/Marilyn innovation and inspiration stops…

The latest product, Morning Beauty Rescue was also inspired by Marilyn Monroe, one of Laszlo’s most iconic muses. The air-light whipped gel has a colorful pink hue and was developed to actively remineralize, restore, revitalize and brighten a dull complexion. This anti-aging mineral treatment contains a unique blend of semi-precious gems, liquid pearl, medicinal mushroom, and non-hydroquinone natural lighteners.

Sounds pretty luxe to us!
