Pixi may have intended for these two products to be spring releases, but I’m calling the Bronze Bloom Trio and Tinted Brilliance Balm officially HOT STUFF for summer!

Bronze Bloom Trio and Tinted Brilliance Balm

The Bronze Bloom Trio is available in one color combination, ‘Bronzette‘. This large compact features an enormous mirror, and plenty of product! Inside, you’ll find a duo of two very flattering blush shades (a luminous pink, and fresh golden peach), partnered up with a large pan of a neutral bronzer. This bronzer is fantastic! It has a subtle, glowing finish that doesn’t look glittery, and it truly is a very believable bronze—even for the fairest of lassies in the land.

The pigments themselves are high quality, and I find the texture of the product to be very buttery and smooth. Pixi touts that there’s Vitamin E in the formula, and I believe it—the blushes and bronzer feel like velvet and aren’t too powdery when I run a brush across them. This trio gives a nice flush to the skin with a believable bronze glow.

Tinted Brilliance Balm in No. 3 ‘Craving Coral’

I am officially nuts over this product, it’s the Tinted Brilliance Balm in shade No. 3, ‘Craving Coral‘. I’ve received so many compliments when I wear it, and everyone wants to know what it is! (It doesn’t hurt that it’s actually a good product, either.) It’s a tinted lip balm in a chubby crayon-style stick that you twist from the bottom to expose more product—so there’s no sharpening happening here. It’s available in seven colors, but I’m really glad I received the coral, I have a feeling it would have been my favorite shade if I had a choice of the seven!

The formula itself is very creamy, not the slightest bit waxy, and feels very comfortable on my lips. Even though it’s more of a tinted balm, I looked at my lips after several hours and marveled at how there was such a nice coral stain left behind that didn’t dry my lips at all. Pixi says the color stain and pigment intensity will vary on the individual wearer’s pH, but I still thought it was gorgeous. This lip nourishing formula includes shea butter, Vitamin E, jojoba oil, and rose extract. I highly, highly recommend this product in shade ‘Craving Coral‘ for summer.

Wearing BB cream, a little mascara, Tinted Brilliance Balm, and Bronze Bloom Trio (I love bright blush, but feel free to apply a smaller amount for a more subtle effect!)

Bottom Line…

Both of these products earn a perfect score from me due to their quality and ease of use. I’ll be keeping both the Bronze Bloom Trio and Tinted Brilliance Balm in the area I usually reserve for my ‘makeup of the moment’ this summer for easy rotation! These products are free of parabens, triclosan, sulfates, and pthalates.

Price & Availability…

Bronze Bloom Trio—$28, Tinted Brilliance Lip Balm—$16, zappos.com, Target stores, and pixibeauty.com
