What’s New: CLEAR Scalp & Hair Therapy Haircare Collection

If you haven’t yet spotted this new line of shampoos and conditioners on store shelves yet—don’t worry, it’s coming! CLEAR Scalp & Hair Therapy is a game-changing collection of haircare products that put the power of a healthy scalp in your hands at home. As a former hairstylist, I’ve always known that the health of the scalp is essential to overall healthy hair—but I’ve grown more frustrated with mass brands on the consumer market, as they continue to market to the ends of our hair. We’re neglecting our scalps!

With six shampoos and five conditioners to meet your own specific hair needs, CLEAR Scalp & Hair Therapy makes it pretty easy to introduce vitamins and nutrients to the source of healthy hair—instead of solely focusing on the hair strand. Whether it’s dandruff you’re fighting, trying to protect your hair color, or just focus on basic hair health, it looks like CLEAR has us covered.

CLEAR Scalp & Hair Therapy is available in:

  • Moisturizing Dry Scalp Nourishing Shampoo & Nourishing Daily Conditioner
  • Complete Care Nourishing Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
  • Damage & Color Repair Nourishing Shampoo & Nourishing Daily Conditioner
  • Volumizing Root Boost Nourishing Shampoo & Nourishing Daily Conditioner
  • Strong Lengths Nourishing Shampoo & Nourishing Daily Conditioner
  • Total Care Nourishing Shampoo & Nourishing Daily Conditioner

There’s also an ULTRA SHEA collection available for ultra-dry scalps, with four products; clinically proven to lock in moisture and provide extra nourishment to stressed hair. (The men haven’t been left out either!)

For about 10 days, I’ve been using both the Total Care Nourishing Shampoo & Nourishing Daily Conditioner, and I’ve been pretty happy with both products. I may not have the ability to scientifically back up CLEAR’s healthy-scalp claims (or provide you with any quantifiable data), I can say that I’m happy with the way my hair and scalp looks and feels. I often walk around with a tightness in my scalp, and I’ve made sure that since I’ve been using Total Care that I take a little bit of extra time to massage the shampoo into my scalp before rinsing. I think we’ve all gotten into a “hurry up and go” mentality, it’s time to slow down and give our scalps the nurturing they deserve if we’re going to be so demanding of our hair!

What are you thoughts about sulfates in shampoos?  Also, does the Clear line have sulfates?  Thanks for your review, I’ve been so curious about this line!

  • http://beautyjunkiesunite.com/ Amber

Hey Jennifer! Sulfates can be kind of tricky. While most of the time my shampoos are sulfate-free, sometimes it can be hard to avoid them on the mass consumer market–so I stay open to them. I’ll likely continue to review both. As long as they don’t strip my color, I’m okay with them for the most part. If there’s a brand with sulfates does visibly strip my color, then it’s gone! The Clear line that I’ve tried has SLS.

Thanks for your detailed information, but applying proteins and  Vitamins from outside , i hope it will not help the hair in any way.

Hi. I’m not sure if I’m understanding correctly, but it is my personal belief that feeding the scalp nutrients will help produce healthier hair as it grows. It’s not just about what you coat the hair with, and I think CLEAR is trying to send that message that you have to start with the scalp.

Does this product make your hair grow faster

  • http://beautyjunkiesunite.com/ Amber

No. It’s not one of the product claims. They do claim it provides a healthier environment for hair to grow, but not faster.

I use the Damage & Color line, absolutely amazing. After one use I could feel the difference in my hair. It was soft, shiny, fell perfectly into style & my rough, dry ends were smoothed out. LOVE IT
