Good morning! (Or afternoon if you’re reading this a little later or on Monday instead of Sunday!)
I promise I’m not getting all sappy, but if you’re spending today with your Dad or father figure this Father’s Day, hold him a little closer and really show him your thanks. I’m 36, and I NEVER had a Dad or positive father-figure in my life. I’ve spent my life very indifferent to this fact, but now that I’m older, I realize I really did miss out on all the things that Dads do for their little girls. I’m really not sad about it, and believe me this is not a “woe is me” message. I’ve had MANY years of getting over it. But I guess what I want to say is, please be thankful if you’re one of the people who had another special parent to share in your successes and cheer you on in life. That’s all I really wanted to say today, and I hope you spend a lovely day with the guy you call Dad!

Question of the Week: What higher-end product(s) in your beauty arsenal do you consider absolutely splurge-worthy?
Answer: It is eye cream, TO THE MAX! Occasionally I’ll find an affordable eye cream that’s good (most of the AVEENO ones rock), but I find myself really spending the big bucks on eye cream because it’s the one area I know that once it’s damaged, GOOD LUCK getting its youthful appearance back!
