Time out for something that I don’t think gets nearly enough love. In fact, I haven’t even given them the proper love they deserve in the past.

Have you guys tried the Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliners from Too Faced yet? They recently added three new shades to the existing collection, for a total range of nine shades. Perfect Eyes may very well be one of Too Faced’s best-kept secrets if you don’t know about them already!

Perfect Moss, Perfect Navy, Perfect Espresso

New shades:

  • Perfect Moss — dark olive-green
  • Perfect Espresso — dark black brown
  • Perfect Navy — dark navy blue

More photos, swatches, and details…

These creamy liners glide across my eyelids like a hot knife through butter, and then perfectly blend out when I use the beveled smudger that’s attached to the opposite end. And the wear time? It’s not a joke. I’ve worn these successfully all day, (mostly Perfect Black Orchid until the new shades came out), and it truly does last. I have aging eyes (*sigh*), so sometimes when a liner is too creamy, it winds up transferring to my crease—not the look I had intended! That being said, it does take a few seconds for the liner to lock-down, so you’ll just need to be mindful of that after applying before you go batting your eyes at someone.

When sharpening, you’ll need to use a standard pencil sharpener, but you will definitely have to be more cautious than you would be than if you were sharpening a regular-old hard eyeliner pencil. Since these are so creamy, the pencil tip is much softer than usual. If you can avoid over-sharpening, that’s also ideal. One thing I’ve always done with pencils like these, is stick them in the freezer for just a few minutes before sharpening. They’re less-likely to get too mushy, and a tip will form much easier.

You know who I think is REALLY going to enjoy wearing these? My smoky-eye girls. That smudger just rules for blurring out the line!

Moss, Navy, Espresso

Bottom Line…

With a great mix of both classic and fun shades, I really like these for long wear. The texture is a bit different from most pencil liners out there, it’s almost like it applies like a gel liner. I don’t think these get nearly enough attention in the beauty world! I see Perfect Moss being a must-have for fall, but I’m also pretty impressed with Perfect Navy. Every navy liner I’ve owned in the past was so dark! This one really looks blue.

Those colors look amazing, just when I thought I had enough eyeliner! Question, do these click up or do we just get the initial product shown? My issue is that I always manage to use these type of liners up super fast because they’re so soft, maybe I’ll try that freezer trick :)

No, these don’t twist. You’ll need a pencil sharpener ;)

I do too, but good ones are hard to find! I have one other good one, and it was from a L.E. bareMinerals kit. I won’t be able to find it again!

Aw, I know how you feel. I had a creamy navy liner pencil when I was in high school and I swear it was perfect, sadly it doesn’t exist anymore ;(

Do you mean as a whole, or on the eye? I haven’t gone through an entire pencil yet, but on the skin? 8+ hours :)

Mine smudges as soon as my skin starts to be oily, it’s irritating and I wouldn’t do touch ups anymore.
