Urban Decay is all set to release three new shade extensions in their popular Lip Junkie Lip Gloss collection this month. The lineup now consists of 14 shiny shades that range from nudes to brights, with a shiny, lacquer-like finish, featuring a cooling sensation to help plump your lips.
Unlike some lip plumping glosses on the market, Lip Junkie’s formula doesn’t sting or burn, and they’re pretty hydrating. The formula does have a cooling effect however, and it may feel a little more intense to some than on others. The three new shades are more on the nude side, so they’re going to be a good fit for most. Lip Junkie is housed in a squeeze tube component with a slanted tip applicator. Lip Junkie’s packaging features detailed metallic filigree cap that’s pretty decorative, which gives the gloss a more luxe look and feel.

I don’t own many of the Lip Junkie shades from Urban Decay, but after wearing Streak around quite a bit in the past week, I think that is going to have to change! I’m a big fan of the Lip Junkie formula. These have a cooling, sweet vanilla mint flavor/fragrance that I really like. According to Urban Decay, the Lip Junkie formula contains Maxi Lip™ (a key indredient that moisturizes and plumps), which on average has been shown to plump the lips an average of 40% when used daily for a month. I have no idea if this claim holds true or not—but I’m all for lip products that shine, hydrate, and condition the lips.
