Sometimes I wonder if Bliss will ever run out of fun names for their products, they’re always so catchy and appealing to me. Their latest product, High Intensity 24-’Heaven’ Healing Body Balm called out to me immediately, because if someone says a product is heavenly—I’m going to try it!
24-’Heaven’ is brand new this month, and it’s a little more heavy-duty than most body butters I own. It’s even richer than some of Bliss’ core body butters, and those are all incredibly rich to begin with. This contains several soothing and moisturizing ingredients; like colloidal oatmeal, vitamin E, and cocoa butter. You might think it would leave a greasy coating behind on your skin, but I don’t think it does at all! You can tell something is there, but it’s not slick, greasy, or sticky. Right now I’ve got this vat on my desk (it’s a generous 8 ounces), and I periodically apply. I wait a few minutes, and then I can type without my fingers slip sliding all over my keyboard. It’s not just for hands, but I definitely like it for that purpose.

Many years ago, I worked in cosmetics retail, and at least once a day—a health care worker would ask me what hand cream would be the best for them. Those in food service and health care professions often have it the worst, due to how much they are required to wash their hands during the day, and use extremely drying hand sanitizers. I really wish this was around back then, because I would have recommended 24-’Heaven’ as one of my top choices, wholeheartedly.
As evidenced by the amount of nail polish swatching I do during the week on my swatching fingers, this ranks up there and goes a little beyond several of my hand creams. The acetone alone does a real number on my fingers and cuticles, and sometimes I even experience chemical irritation that makes my fingertips slightly peel. This week, 24-’Heaven’ has nearly put a stop to that. When you’re home from work and ready to call it quits for the day, you can add instant hydration from your neck to your toes, because this body balm is no joke!
You know what I just thought would be fantastic? A 24-’Heaven’ lip balm. I’d love to see this translate into something for the lips since it’s so soothing.
