Whoa! It’s Sunday again already? This week went by fast, but it wasn’t an easy one for me. We outgrew the server the site has been hosted for four years, and have long needed an upgrade. I finally had enough! Not only did we upgrade servers, but we changed hosts at the same time—which made for an incredibly stressful week. You may have noticed a lot of weirdness and downtime, and I’m so sorry! I think some things may be wonky for a few days this week too while I address another issue that has been brought to my attention. So thank you in advance for hanging in there! I have SO many awesome giveaways lined up for you guys, but I’m hesitant to put them up until I’m 100% sure the site is stable. As soon as I get the all-clear, we’re back to the fun stuff! Thank you guys for EVERYTHING.

Question of the Week: What’s your most prized beauty possession?
Answer: Well, this is kind of difficult for me to answer. I promise I’m not trying to sound bratty or braggy, but I have a lot of stuff—like I’m sure many of you do, too! I can’t think of one single thing I value the most, however. But there’s one collection of things I own I cannot seem to part with—even after they’re expired—my perfume bottles. I have some pretty exquisite ones (in my opinion), and my current fave is this one from Valentino, Valentina. I imagine I’ll still own it years from now because I just love it so much. One myth out there I want to bust though—I do not keep everything I review on the site! There are certain items my local battered women’s shelter accepts, and they get first dibs. The rest of the products get very good forever homes with friends and relatives.
