5 Fab Products From My Medicine Cabinet & Bonus Vaseline Total Moisture Giveaway!

by Amber on July 27, 2012

In a recent survey conducted by Vaseline, over 34% of the women admitted to having more than 20 products stored in their medicine cabinet. I would be guilty as charged, of course! I actually dominate both of our medicine cabinets, much to the chagrin of Mr. Beauty Junkie.

That same survey also garnered responses from 36% of the women, who admitted to cleaning out their medicine cabinet less than once every two years. Now I don’t feel so badly! While I’ve never gone that long between beauty purge sessions, I can see how it happens. I just decluttered one of my medicine cabinets, and picked out five fab products to share. And yes, this is my version of decluttered!

1. Vaseline Total Moisture Lotion

With an improved, thicker formula, Vaseline Total Moisture combines the soothing powers of pure oat extract with their Stratys-3 multi-layer moisture complex for healthy and soft skin at the top, core, and deep layers. Total Moisture really gives long-lasting hydration to my skin and makes it feel soft, while being lightweight. I don’t feel like I’m trading off or missing anything—it’s the only body lotion I need from my neck to my toes. It feels good, absorbs quickly, and moisturizes my skin. Total Moisture is also available in Aloe Fresh and Cocoa Radiant.

2. Dr Jart. Renewalist Beauty Balm

I am so crazy for this BB cream, because it’s such a great multi-tasker. It gives me coverage, hydrates, brightens, and makes my skin smooth—with an SPF 40. I receive several compliments about my skin every time I wear it!

3. Kate Somerville ExfoliKate

This intensive facial exfoliator takes two minutes, two times a week, and delivers on bright and smooth skin.

4. Pevonia Timeless Eye Contour

After nearly two months of use, this is delivering on its promises; reducing crepiness and puffiness.

5. Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

I have to say, of all of the facial cleansing wipes I’ve ever used to date—these are the most non-drying and gentle ones I’ve tried. They don’t sting my face like most of them do, nor do they make my skin feel tight or dry. They also stand up to the task of removing waterproof mascara.

Love Total Moisture, Come to think of it, I actually don’t know why I ever stopped using it….

  • Sherry B.

I actually only have about 3! Thank you for the chance to try a new one.

  • Melissamak007

I don’t have enough space i my medicine cabinet for ALL my lotions (which my boyfriend says can tide me over for years). So I just keep 2 in there. I also love simple cleansing wipes. My face feels so clean after I use them.

  • Diane Kleiman

I have about 3 lotions in my cabinet that I tried but didn’t like and should have thrown away a long time ago but never did because I have a problem wasting things especially in this economy. However, while I’m always seeking out new “better” products that never seem to work out for me, Vaseline Intensive Care is the one lotion I can always count on to moisturize my very dry skin.

Thank you for another fine giveaway. I really enjoy and always read your blog, whether you have giveaways or not. However, having the giveaways does add a little fun into my boring life. Good luck to all.

I enjoyed being a voyeur! The only reason I’m not entering the contest is because I have about twenty lotions already! (And Vaseline Intensive Therapy is one of them)

  • Carmen Santoro

I don’t have any in the medicine cabinet. No room. I keep them on the bathroom sink counter. I have four and a bunch of real small ones.
