Review: Make Up For Ever Eye Prime

I’ve tried a few eye primers before and always felt like they did an OK job—nothing really blew my mind.  That is, until I tried Make Up For Ever Eye Prime. I am talking AHHHMAZING. I have deep-set eyes so it goes without saying that I’m more likely to experience creasing. Add temperatures in the 90’s and I’m a greasy, creasy mess. To add insult to injury, my eyeliner usually ends up transferring to my brow bone and I look like a total wreck—remember Courtney Love’s make-up circa 1993? That’s usually me after a long hot day.  Needless to say, I was eager to give this stuff a shot.

At 7am on a Friday morning I put Eye Prime on my lids, topped them with a snow white eye shadow and added black eyeliner on top.  After a long day; 8 hours of work, 3 hours of Mommy-time followed by an evening out watching my husband’s band play at a sweaty bar, I arrived home at 2am and saw two impeccable (albeit exhausted) eyes looking back at me in the mirror. I was shocked. No transfer, no creasing, no smudging or mess. My eye makeup looked exactly like it did at 7am when I put it on. See? AHHHMAZING.

Bottom Line…

If you’re tired of your eye make-up being a greasy creasy mess, set the stage with Make Up For Ever Eye Prime and you’ll have perfect peepers all day. Or night.

Would this be ideal for naturally oily lids? UDPP isn’t cutting it for me.

I think this has the potential to work a little better. Since Make Up For Ever can be used theatrically, I’m thinking it should hold up.

I almost passed on this article.  I thought, ‘who needs another primer?’, but after reading this, I think I do!  This looks great! I’m definitely going to have to give this a try.  The price tag isn’t too bad for a MUFE product too!
