I have as many mascaras as I do shoes, and Too Faced’s Lash Injection Mascara is the newest member of my mascara wardrobe. You may already be familiar with Lash Injection, but this summer marks the introduction of an improved formula—promising length, volume, and DRAMA! Let’s check it out…

If you’re not used to them, tubing mascaras might seem a little odd! In Lash Injection, Too Faced uses a special polymer in the formula that makes the mascara wrap around the lashes. When it comes to removal time, it might seem a little more odd. The mascara removes in pieces, which gives the impression you’re losing your lashes along with it. Not to fear! It’s just the tubes sliding off your lashes. You can use regular eye makeup remover to take Lash Injection off, but it will also remove with warm water.
The new version of Lash Injection boasts a different brush too, it’s much fuller than the original. I’ve worn Lash Injection a few times—and at first I was wiggling the brush through my lashes, which made too many lashes clump together. I’ve found that it actually wears better for me when I just apply it by running the brush straight through my lashes. Another thing—I don’t recommend over-working Lash Injection. As it starts to dry, the formula begins to stretch. Stretch it too much, and you could wind up with a few clumps.
In terms of delivering on the promises of volume, length, and drama—I can say it definitely adds volume to my lashes, and a little bit of length. But sadly, there’s no drama. That’s okay—two out of three isn’t so bad!
Bottom Line…
This delivered in the volumizing department, and I feel like maybe I could have gotten a little more mileage when it comes to length. But my fave Too Faced mascara is Lash Gasm—don’t miss it! It always gives me great length and volume.
