Sneak Peek: bareMinerals Ready SPF 20 Foundation & Precision Face Brush

I never thought I would see the day that bareMinerals would release a solid version of their iconic bareMinerals loose powder foundation—but it’s here! Launching in September, the Ready SPF 20 Foundation makes it easy to take your favorite complexion product on the go. This isn’t a full review since the shade I have is Medium Beige (I currently wear Fairly Light), but more of a ‘sneak peek’, so you know what to expect next month!

Ready SPF 20 Foundation will launch in 20 shades, along with two Precision Face Brushes for application. (One is retractable.) Unlike their loose mineral foundation formula, Ready Foundation is only available in a natural finish—where the original is available in both matte and natural finishes.

Like the Ready eyeshadow series, Ready Foundation contains their proprietary bareMinerals SeaNutritive Mineral Complex for healthy skin benefits, bringing vitamins and protective antioxidants to the table. According to bareMinerals, this contains a time-release hydration system, with a moisturizing complex of mineral-encapsulated glycerin and humic acid to lock in moisture and protect the skin against environmental aggressors. Another benefit—an SPF 20.

Also available, there are two Precision Face Brushes to ensure a flawless application. These brushes have soft and densely packed synthetic fibers to help smooth Ready Foundation on the skin. I honestly don’t know if the regular bristles on the pre-existing bareMinerals foundation brush will work with this, but I find it to be a little scratchy and it might not pick up enough of the product for an even foundation application. I cannot wait to get my hands on my shade of Ready Foundation! Looks like I’ll have to wait until next month, so it’s going to be a long August for me.
