I’m not trying to brag here, but I’m a really good resource when it comes to testing deodorant. Between teaching Zumba classes several times a week, running around the house chasing my son and working in a high-pressure job…well that is the perfect combination for somebody who needs an effective deodorant like Dove Clear Tone Antiperspirant & Deodorant. Hence, I’ve got the perfect pits for the task.
I’ve always been a big fan of the Dove deodorant line so I was very excited to try this product, especially because it promised to help diminish uneven skin tone—in other words getting rid of those pesky red or dark marks under your arms caused by lack of moisture.
After about 3 or 4 days, my underarms were noticeably smoother and zero red marks. To be honest, I don’t experience discoloration as much as some ladies do, but I can definitely say that I have always struggled with achieving a smooth shave. I’m happy to report after about a week, my shave was noticeably smoother! The added benefit is the scent. I am not a fan of much fragrance and I think Dove does a perfect job of offering a pleasant fragrance that isn’t over powering. Dove Clear Tone also delivers on deodorant basics like odor and wetness protection and even though this isn’t a “clear” deodorant, I experienced minimal of no transfer on my shirts every time I used it.
I’ve shared this tip before, but always think it is worth telling again; in these steamy summer months, slather a little deodorant on your feet before you slip them into your flip flops and say good-bye to stinky toes!
