Time to get a little Feminine, Dangerous, and Fun…
When I was at the Lucky Magazine Fashion & Beauty Bloggers’ Conference last spring, Urban Decay’s founder, Wende Zomnir spoke on a panel and said something I haven’t forgotten since. She stated (and I’m paraphrasing) that Urban Decay is about being “feminine, dangerous, and fun”, and if it wasn’t one of those three things—Urban Decay wasn’t doing it. For holiday 2012, looks like we’re getting a dose of all three!
Introducing, the Feminine, Dangerous, & Fun Eyeshadow Palettes—three zip-up clutch-style palettes that bring one of each of those three things to mind.
The Urban Decay Feminine, Dangerous, & Fun Eyeshadow Palettes
Right off the bat, I have to apologize. I should (and would) have had these up for you several weeks ago, but they literally had the longest UPS journey on their way to me and got lost somewhere along the way! As a result, I haven’t had much time to really play with these. While my initial impressions are very positive here, I want to give full disclosure that I have not had a chance to wear many of these shadows yet. I have spent a considerable amount of time touching, swatching, photographing, and forming adoration for these so far. Either way you decide—I hope the product information, photos, and swatches will aid you in a purchase decision.
This post is full of information and very photo heavy. Ready? Let’s go!

The Feminine Palette — note the size
Each palette holds six shades of eyeshadow (.03 oz. each), and one small Lip Junkie Lip Gloss shade (.11 fl oz.). They’re a little smaller than the length of my hand, and the palettes themselves are detachable. If you’d like, you can remove the actual palette from the zip-up clutch, and use the clutch or palette individually.
Please note: Due to the strong magnet that holds the palette in place, Urban Decay does not recommend storing credit cards in your clutch!

Initial thoughts…
If you’ve wanted to get the Smoked Palette, but for some reason it’s been unattainable for you, The Dangerous Palette is for you. It’s along the same lines as Smoked and has a few dupes. The Feminine Palette holds some gorgeous neutrals that I can wear nearly any time. These are all darling! If you haven’t had a chance to try the new eyeshadow formula that they switched over to over the summer, I think you’ll really like the texture. If you thought the vintage texture and pigments were great—you’re not going to believe the new version with their Pigment Infusion System™.
