Well hello there, lovelies! Are you ready for a new week? I feel a little rejuvenated today since I’ve taken some time off for an east coast vacation with Mr. Beauty Junkies. I couldn’t believe it, we actually saw leaves on trees in fall colors! You could have knocked me over with a feather, because in Southern California, we seem to never fully get a fall. Case in point—it was 105° when we landed at home. *sigh* This place is so crazy. The good news is, it’s cooled down and it’s much more tolerable this weekend. Question of the Week: Who inspired you to get into makeup?
Answer: I remember the very first time I actually wore makeup in public, and I thought I was hot stuff! I can’t recall exactly how old I was, but I was visiting my aunt for a summer, and one day she popped out a Max Factor lipstick. It was a wine shade called Beaujolais. She told me I needed some color, and I dabbed some on my cheeks and lips. Granted, the shade was all kinds of wrong for me (and I probably looked like a clown), but I have to say that was my official start. My love affair grew over the years like almost any other girl in the world. But it wasn’t until my 20′s that I really got bitten by the makeup bug. Something just clicked one day, and the rest is history!
