I’m not the kind of girl to take shortcuts with my shampoo and conditioner anymore, unless I’m specifically testing something for the blog. A few years ago, I kissed my flat, boring jet black hair color adieu, and since then—I’ve been spending a small fortune on color and highlights. But all of that pricey color is super picky now, and what I could get away with before just doesn’t cut it in the the caramel hair color department anymore. So I have to choose very carefully what I use to wash my fragile strands with everyday. Sound familiar?

If you’re in the same boat, you’ll want to pick something gentle for your color-treated locks—like the new Orchid Bliss Shampoo and Conditioner from White Sands. This sulfate-free formula uses orchid extract, sunflower seed extract, grape seed oil, carrot seed, olive extract, and apricot kernel for hydration and maximum color retention. Orchid Bliss adds shine to my hair, protects my precious color job, makes my hair feel healthy, and smell oh-so-good with a clean citrus scent. The orchid flower is known for its mineral richness and anti-aging properties, so Orchid Bliss is kind of like anti-aging skincare, but for your hair. My hair (and hair color) is definitely a fan.
