The ELLE Cosmetics Face Primer is a new fall launch that rivals foundation primers on pricey cosmetics counters. This lightweight and oil-free primer gives a soft-focus effect to the skin, which preps your face for the perfect foundation application, for a lit-from-within effect due to its subtle optical brighteners. (The subtle glow this brings to my face is my favorite part!)
Skin looks and feels instantly smoother for a flawless makeup canvas that’s naturally soft and luminous for all-day wear. It doesn’t have that heavy dimethicone ‘slip’ like thick foundation primers, but ELLE Face Primer contains silica and mica to help absorb excess surface oil, while green tea extract and sucrose act as skin conditioners and humectants to keep your makeup looking its best all day. This feels lightweight on the skin, and aside from my skin just feeling soft and smooth, I can’t even feel it’s there. (As if we need to feel yet another layer of something on our faces!)
