MAC brings pretty back this holiday season with the Glamour Daze Collection. The color collection as a whole boasts sweet, girlie shades that are really hard for me to resist! I’ll have more pieces from the color collection to show you in a bit, but for now—sink your teeth into the Glamour Daze nail lacquers…
In the Limelight, Endless Night, Girl Trouble, Everything that Glitters
See more photos, swatches, and details…
Girl Trouble is pale pink; almost lavender, with tons of silver shimmer. It’s got such a silver glow to it, that it’s close to being a foil. Two coats made it opaque, and it dried super fast.
In the Limelight is a creamy mint green. As you can probably tell, I had a little bit of a leveling issue with this one, but it’s still very pretty. This is also opaque in two coats, even if it seemed like it wouldn’t be after the first.
Endless Night is a pale grey with an opalescent pink finish. Two coats were a little sheer, so it’s shown with three. This is a nice take on greige!
Everything that Glitters has a black base, with fuchsia, blue, green, and gold glitter. This one is even more spectacular in-person, but seemed a little sheer after two coats (around the visible nail line). When I wear this, I’ll likely apply three to avoid that—but this shade very dimensional otherwise.
Bottom Line…
I had a little bit of a leveling issue with In the Limelight, but it wasn’t too out of the ordinary. (I often have that problem with pastels.) Aside from that, I’m really happy with these. Girl Trouble is my fave, what’s yours?
