During the holidays, there’s never a shortage of high-value gift sets, but the trend this year seems to be about snagging an exceptional value, like the new Too Faced Love Sweet Love Collection. Of holiday seasons in recent memory, I don’t recall seeing such great quality for the number of wallet-friendly price points I’m seeing! Case in point—Love Sweet Love has $130 worth of products in it, yet it retails at $46. Talk about more bang for your beauty buck!

Wow! (Right?) Let’s talk about the palette…
It’s called the ‘Book of Love’, which is an appropriate name since I love it! The eyeshadow quality is consistent with Too Faced’s core line, and I’m not surprised. Especially considering that Jerrod Blandino (Too Faced’s Founder) promises he doesn’t dummy down the quality of the shades in Too Faced gift sets and palettes come the holidays. (MANY brands employ that practice, and I can’t stand it!) I also want to point out that the LashGasm Mascara is full size, ladies. I’m a fan of LashGasm, and it just happens to be my fave Too Faced mascara, so you know I was happy it was included. (It’s great for lengthening!)
Aside from that, the rest of the products in Love Sweet Love are solid contributors for this collection, no duds here! The deluxe size products are pretty generous, I don’t feel cheated in the slightest. And can we talk about the Teddy Bear Hair multi-purpose face brush? It is SO soft! (And it also doesn’t hurt that it’s pink. You know how I am!) I used it to apply Candlelight Glow (not included), and it deposited the perfect amount of highlight. It’s a keeper for me.
If there were one thing I could change about this collection, it would be the lip glosses. I wish they were a tad more pigmented since they’re a little more on the sheer side. Another request I would make? That there’s a clear piece of film over the lip glosses, and just the lip glosses—that way, they won’t be ruined by the fallout of the eyeshadows during use.

Between the great assortment of products, face brush, and the cosmetic bag, I don’t know how Too Faced is even making any money here. Love Sweet Love is a tremendous value, wrapped up in an adorable embroidered aqua velveteen makeup bag.
