I’m not really big on promoting a lot of Twitter parties, but this one is special—it will make a difference in the lives of at least two million hungry people this holiday season!
In order to raise awareness about hunger in America and inspire everyone to take small actions that can add up to a big difference in the world, Unilever will be hosting a Twitter party this Thursday, November 15th. You can join the conversation, which will be driven by facts about hunger and simple ways people can help.
This November, Unilever (the company behind beauty brands like Dove, Suave, Degree Women, etc.) is undertaking a comprehensive initiative to “Cross-off Hunger,” which will include donating TWO MILLION MEALS through Feeding America and partnering with FEED. How fantastic! The #BetterTogether suggestions might even inspire you to make a difference in your local community this holiday season to help the hungry. You’d be surprised how many small things make a BIG difference!
…and there will be a giveaway!
Participants tweeting with @MakeLifeBetter using the hashtag #BetterTogether will have the chance to win one of 15 gift baskets filled with Unilever food and personal care items. Unilever will also donate 500 meals on behalf of each winner to Feeding America. AMAZING! I’d love to have 500 meals donated on behalf of a Beauty Junkies Unite reader! So please consider participating, even if it’s just a tweet or two.
Date: Thursday, November 15th
Time: 12pm — 1pm EST
Host: @MakeLifeBetter (Unilever—the company behind beauty brands like Dove, Suave, and Degree Women.)
