Now that there’s a brand new CVS/pharmacy within walking distance of my home, I go over there a few afternoons a week to check out the latest in drugstore beauty. CVS is often my destination of choice for beauty goodies because of their special CVS Beauty Club rewards program that’s linked to my ExtraCare card. For every $50 I spend in beauty purchases, I earn $5 in ExtraBucks! It adds up pretty quickly for me, so I frequently have ExtraBucks to spend, and that’s never a bad thing.
As if I needed another reason to make CVS my mecca of all things drugstore beauty, they’re launching exciting new nail kiosks in their stores, called Nail HQ. These special in-store kiosks will showcase the hottest nail trends and product innovations in over 2,000 CVS locations nationwide. Nail HQ will debut a former salon-exclusive – gel nail technology – with new products from SensatioNail and Sally Hansen. Nail HQ will also feature an array of new shade options and allow shoppers to view polish shades outside of the bottles through nail color strip displays. The popular Nuance Salma Hayek line, a CVS/pharmacy exclusive brand developed in partnership with actress Salma Hayek, will be introducing a 32-shade Nail Lacquer collection.
