L’Oréal Paris Limited-Edition Diamonds Collection

There are six shades of 8HR Infallible Le Gloss; All Iced Out (clear diamond glimmer), Something Shiny (yellow-gold diamond glimmer), Pretty Precious (champagne beige diamond glimmer), To Be Treasured (lilac-pink diamond glimmer), Dazzle Me (fuchsia diamond glimmer), and Sparkle Frenzy (red diamond glimmer). During testing, these didn’t last 8 hours as promised, however they all lasted four hours—with the exception of Sparkle Frenzy—which lasted for six due to its more intense pigmentation.

There’s a slight hint of a vanilla menthol fragrance to these, with most of the flavor/scent dissipating after a few minutes. 8HR Infallible Le Gloss features my favorite wand on lip glosses, the open paddle. This is a nice and decently wearing formula with a moderate amount of tackiness in the texture.

In the Diamonds collection, there are six Colour Riche Nail Colors; So Chic! (nude beige with golden and silver shimmer), Drop Dead Gorgeous (black with silver shimmer), Lifetime Love (red with golden shimmer), The Bigger The Better (black and silver glitter in clear base), Fancy Me (gold and red glitter in red-pink translucent base), and Sparklicious (pale blonde gold glitter in clear base).

The Colour Riche Nail Color formula is one of the better drugstore nail lacquer formulas out there, with the base shades applying smoothly and evenly in two coats, and shimmer/glitter performing pretty well given their textures. I haven’t had the chance to test the wear on these shades specifically, but in the past I’ve worn other Colour Riche nail shades for four to five days with little issue.

Colour Riche Nail Lingerie is a newer product from L’Oréal Paris, and the Diamond Collection contains three patterns/shades. Bling Addict (silver fishnet with diamond accents), Statement Piece (gold fishnet with diamond accents), Razzle Be Dazzle (black fishnet with diamond accents). These are nail decals that you wear on top of polish, or they can be worn alone on the nail. Not to be confused with polish strips, these act more as a transparent nail sticker to add accent.

While easy to apply, make sure to apply these on top of nail lacquer that is completely dry, or they may slightly buckle along the edges. The adhesive is pretty strong on these, but I do recommend sealing the nail tips (and only the tips!) with a clear coat to stop them from lifting along the edges, thus making them wear longer.

The Diamond collection contains one limited edition 24HR Infallible Eye Shadow in shade Gold Imperial (pale yellow gold glimmer). I’ve reviewed 24HR Infallible Eye Shadows in the past, and I think they’re pretty incredible! I love how smooth they are, although you might be surprised to learn they’re actually a loosely-pressed shadow formula. While I’m able to apply them with a brush with some fallout, I like applying them with my fingers or a sponge applicator best. I don’t recommend wearing them for 24 hours (or any eyeshadow for that matter), but I’ve found that this formula is indeed very long-wearing without creasing (even without primer).

Last, and certainly not least, here’s the limited edition Black Diamond Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara. This is a non-clumping formula (yay!), that doesn’t smudge for me—so I really like the formula in-general. There are tiny silver shimmering bits in this mascara, but they are super subtle and not overbearing. They’re pretty fine particles, and may slightly migrate throughout the day. While I do wind up with a few particles under my eyes, I don’t have black mascara flakes when that shimmer falls. Good for separation and volume building, I do recommend this mascara!

You’re welcome! Thanks for stopping by :)

I wasn’t interested in the nail polishes… until now! And i appreciate they made decals instead of polish strips, much more fun!

  • Amber

Sorry to be such a bad influence…LOL!

  • Blonnie

I tried to put a topcoat on mine tonight and it shriveled up! Very odd. You did not experience this problem? I found your website when googling the issue.

  • Amber

Oh! You can only put top coat on the tips–the very ends of your nails…not actually on the nail lingerie itself.

  • Amber

No problem :) These are more like decals than polish strips, so they are a little different. Hope that helps! xo

  • thegreatestbeauty

    oh i love those nailpolishes!
