Oh my Goddess! New from BUXOM…

This is super preliminary info, since I just received this new product from the Bare Escentuals BUXOM line, but it sure is pretty! Check out the new BUXOM Divine Goddess Luminizer in ‘Venus’ for face & body.

From BUXOM….

Bathe your complexion in an incandescent glow with this luxurious, lightweight cream luminizer for face and body. The sheer, shimmering finish is perfect for all skin tones, and the refreshing sensation will send you to cloud nine. Wear it alone, under, or over makeup to glow like a Divine Goddess.

First impressions…

This isn’t meant to serve as a complete review, as I haven’t had the product long enough to give it enough of a wear test. But as someone who wears a lot of luminizing products, I can tell you this is a more lightweight version of a cream luminizer. It’s still creamy, but it doesn’t seem to disturb the rest of my foundation. It almost feels like a gel/cream hybrid, and it’s sort of cooling to the touch.

I could see wearing this on the front of the shins and on your collarbone too, since it’s such a subtle, flattering glow. The size of the tube is pretty generous at 2 ounces. So far, so good! I plan on wearing this more this week with other looks, but I like that the ‘Venus’ tint is pretty universal. I do love the glow this gives without being too glittery. Due to the pigmentation, this will only take a small amount of product to get the job done.

Swatches…

straight out of the tube, then blended in (swatch on my inner arm)

(I’m currently Fairly Light in the Original bareMinerals Foundation, and Medium Beige in READY for comparison purposes.)

Will you be picking up the new BUXOM Divine Goddess Luminizer?

Wow! That is a lot of pigment. I’m very interested in this.

This looks very nice. Often these products are too golden for me. I have several luminizers but always forget to wear them.

This one is slightly golden, but cooler and more on the champagne side. Hope it works! xo

I could see maybe a tiny dab of this with BB cream for a pretty finish :)
