I have to be completely honest.
I’m typically not too crazy about skincare products that I see on infomercials. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I’ve rarely had much luck with the products and gadgets I’ve purchased from those seen-on-TV deals, so I try to steer clear of them. But here’s where I’m wrong—Cindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty skincare line.
About a year ago, I was talking to a makeup artist and on-air beauty expert that I totally respect, and she told me she swears by the Meaningful Beauty Lifting Eye Crème. At the time, I filed it away in the back of my mind, making a mental note to try it someday. Back in December of 2012, it finally came to fruition, and I promise you…I have been obsessed with this eye cream ever since!
In my case, the Lifting Eye Crème has worked to smooth out a few of my fine lines, and it eliminates puffiness on those mornings when I wake up looking pretty haggard. I’m not so sure I need much lifting at this stage in my skincare game, but I can say that I feel this eye cream gently firming my under eye area after application. I’ve been using it morning and night since late December, and I have to admit—I think it makes a difference! Even better, it absorbs completely and quickly, without making my concealer migrate.
Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, the Meaningful Beauty Lifting Eye Crème contains a proprietary microencapsulated botanical melon complex. This complex is a free-radical scavenger, and works to quench dehydrated under eyes. They’ve paired the complex with a known moisture magnet—hyaluronic acid. In certain grades, hyaluronic acid molecules have the ability to hold up to 1,000 times their weight in water. I often seek out skincare products with this ingredient, solely because I’m a true believer of its clinically proven moisture benefits.
In addition to these hydration benefits, this eye cream wonder contains resveratrol, which is one of the grape vine’s best-kept secrets. These polyphenols are utilized in the formulas of some of the most well-respected (and expensive) skincare lines in the industry, and now, in the Lifting Eye Crème.
The only bad part about using this eye cream? I’m going to have to stop using it for now so that I can test some other products. But believe me, I’ll be back for this one!
