I’ve been pretty excited about this release from OPI for Spring/Summer 2013—the Euro Centrale Collection! It features a mix of both classic and contemporary shades, in bright playful hues, to creamy dark shades. From the palest shades, to the deepest blues, Euro Centrale will be the easiest fashion accessory you can wear this spring.
Ready to take a closer look at some of the shades that have stolen my heart? Let’s go!
Suzi’s Hungary Again! is a warm, creamy bright pink with coral tones. This was great with two coats for opacity.
You’re Such a BudaPest is a lilac-periwinkle shade with a very faint amount of shimmer. The formula on this shade seemed a little bit thinner than 10 of the others, so I needed a thin third coat for complete coverage.
Vant to Bite My Neck? is a deep eggplant purple cream that is just GORGEOUS. It required two coats for coverage and the formula felt perfect.
Polka.com is a multi-color glitter with violet, pink, and blue suspended in a transparent base. I didn’t think it was overly hard to get the particles to stick, as shown—this is with two coats.
Oy—Another Polish Joke! is a shimmering gold that is slightly thin with two coats, so it’s shown with three. Very pretty twinkle!
My Vampire is Buff is a creamy french vanilla shade that was surprisingly one of my favorites! This was one of the shades with a thinner consistency and required three coats for coverage.
My Paprika is Hotter Than Yours! Is a spicy red-orange that looks beautiful with two coats.
I Saw…U Saw…We Saw…Warsaw is a deep midnight blue with complete coverage in two coats.
Hands Off My Kielbasa! is a bronzy tan frost with great coverage in two coats. You can see a little bit of brush strokes with this one, but considering most frosts, these strokes aren’t that bad!
OPI…Eurso Euro is a dramatic deep blue cobalt cream. Two coats here delivered perfect opacity.
Can’t Find My Czechbook was another one of my favorites, it’s a creamy mix of aqua and pale blue.
A Woman’s Prague-ative is a shimmering copper with tons of twinkle! While this delivered good coverage in two coats, a thin third won’t hurt for complete opacity.
This is a gorgeous collection with several that I personally favor. Please note that with two of the shades (You’re Such a BudaPest and My Vampire is Buff), you may notice the formula seems a little thinner. Not too troublesome, but prepared to use three coats for full opacity. My top picks from Euro Centrale: Suzi’s Hungary Again!, Can’t Find My Czechbook, and Vant To Bite My Neck?
