Le Métier De Beauté Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo Review, Photos

Yesterday was my 37th birthday, and I know that they say a true lady never tells. But I’m actually okay with it! A little scary getting closer to 40, but all-in-all, I’m comfortable. I’m noticing however, that things are shifting on my face a little bit. Not too badly, but I’m getting more lines and crepe-yness under my eyes. (UGH!) Sometimes it requires a little extra effort to diminish them or conceal, and it’s getting tougher to do as time goes on.

After a late night and a few birthday libations, I awoke this morning to some under eye puffiness, a little darkness, skin dehydration, and my fine lines were kickin’! I figured it was the perfect opportunity to put the new Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo from Le Métier De Beauté to the test. Ready to see what it is and how it works?

The Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo is a set of seaweed-based under eye masks that deliver immediate hydration, reduce puffiness, deliver brightness, soften fine lines, and firm the delicate skin under your eyes. Get this—they work in just 15 minutes! They’re packaged in convenient, on-the-go, one-time use sachets. So they’re ideal for travel (when flying just sucks all the moisture from your skin), or just for rough mornings where you need to look your best and most well-rested.

The masks are a pre-moistened, seaweed-based gel that adheres to the skin like a second skin. Even though they’re one-time use masks, you can remove and re-position if you accidentally position incorrectly. They’re translucent, and they stay put—so you can literally use them anywhere. Maybe I wouldn’t go grocery shopping in them, but some masks actually require you to stay put and lay down while using, so these are great for in-flight, while in the gym, sitting at your desk, and puttering around the house. I actually folded some laundry with mine on this morning—and they stayed securely in-place the entire time. You can even pop them in the refrigerator prior to application so that you’ll get an added cooling and anti-inflammatory benefit.

The gel is loaded with a power-packed punch of skincare ingredients; some of them being sodium hyaluronate, ceramides, and licorice root. All of these helped contribute to the benefits I experienced by using these little babies.

I placed these just a little too high, you’ll want to place them just a little lower.

The results…

before

after (15 minutes) — absolutely no retouching, the position of the sun had shifted by the time I took my “after” photo—sorry for the difference in lighting

Bottom Line…

These worked like a charm for me! I realize they aren’t a cheap date, but Le Métier De Beauté is a premium prestige brand, after all.
