I love breakfast again, imagine that!
Just in case you missed it, last week I announced that I had joined the Nutrisystem Nation, in an effort to lose 100 pounds. I know it’s not going to be easy—but if this first week is any indication of how things are going to go, I’m in very good hands and feel super optimistic!
One of my challenges has been eating on-schedule, and that means, I skip breakfast…a lot! This past week, I renewed my commitment to breakfast and I’m loving it. I don’t know any other weight loss plan that I can eat this well, so conveniently, and STILL LOSE WEIGHT. I’ve had delicious omelets, buttermilk waffles, french toast, and cinnamon rolls! I’ve also paired these easy-to-prepare breakfasts with a power fuel protein like nonfat yogurt.
To make it even easier, I can even have one of the Nutrisystem protein shakes that are part of the plan, and the Refreshing Coffee flavor is DELICIOUS and doesn’t make me miss a trip to Starbucks at all! I realize breakfast is just one part of the equation, but I wanted my first update to start there, because it’s the most important meal of the day. I find I have more energy, my afternoon slumps have decreased, and I haven’t gone hungry between meals once. This is a big change for me, and a welcome one at that.

After one week on the Nutrisystem Select plan, I have lost 2.5 pounds. I am so happy you guys, I’m practically glowing right now. I know some weeks will be more challenging than others, and I’m not saying it will all be a cakewalk, but I’ll take it how I can get it!
