How To: The Easiest Smoky Eye

The easiest smoky eye!

I’m quite challenged in the eyeshadow department, I probably spend more time trying to get it right than I do on the rest of my makeup! Normally, a smoky eye is off-limits to me, because I just can’t seem to get it right. But yesterday, I tinkered with Pixi’s instructions for the easiest smoky eye (see the video below), and even though I didn’t get it perfect—I still think it passes! I’m so glad that a quick video showed me this little trick, using just two products you can find at Target.

This is all you need:

  • One of the Pixi Lid & Line Pencils — They’re available in eight shades, I like the Smoky Olive! This easy-to-use pencil has three parts: an eyeliner, an eyeshadow, and a sponge-tip smudger. The pieces all snap together to form a single pencil component—how convenient!
  • Pixi Large Lash Mascara — This mascara gives me soft, fluttery length that looks natural without flaking or smudging.
  • Optional — A beige or creme eyeshadow for highlight/blending.

How-to…

See? I told you it was easy! Here’s the video I mentioned that I drew inspiration from:

basic info but not really helpful to a real smokey eye…….smokey eye in my opinion should blend and array of neutrals/ black/grays/silvers/whites or colors….in my opinion the smokey eye on the simple level could be done better and more appealing
