butter LONDON brings us a summer collection of nail lacquers that proves bronze has more fun! Meet four shades from the new Summer Holiday Collection. This popular British beauty brand boasts a comprehensive collection of lacquer shades, nail treatments, and lip glosses.
Bobby Dazzler, Marbs, Bit Faker, Poole
I’m quite impressed with these shades! All four offered completely opaque coverage in two coats, they leveled nicely, and applied very easily. One thing I noticed with the silver shade (Bobby Dazzler), you’ll need to make sure both coats of polish are entirely dry before applying your top coat to prevent excessive brush strokes. Don’t worry, it won’t take long! Metallics like this dry pretty quickly.
Another thing I found impressive, was that the glitter shade, Bit Faker was pretty smooth to the touch after applying my top coat. (I almost exclusively use Seche Vite.) Most glitters leave something to be desired for me, because I obsess over a rough, gritty texture. While I could still feel it a little bit, I thought it was pretty smooth compared to other glitters I own.
Just in case you’ve never owned a butter LONDON polish before, you might be a little intimidated by the rectangular cap. It’s actually just decorative and pops off, then you’re left with a regular brush top. butter LONDON is a 3-free polish formula, which means it’s free of DPB, toluene and formaldehyde.
