Nutrisystem: Week 17 Update


Last week presented a little bit of a challenge to me, but I wasted no time dusting myself off and getting back in the swing of things. I have to admit, while the program itself is easy to follow, I still have to work on the things that got me to this place originally, and that itself is the real challenge here. Breaking patterns can be really difficult. While I’m so much more better off today than I was just a short three months ago, I really have to stay on myself.

I don’t know if it’s just because I haven’t been feeling well, but I’ve noticed that my weight loss has slowed a little bit. I’m still losing what’s within the suggested guidelines however, and anyone should expect to lose between one and two pounds a week. I guess I was just hoping to stay above that!

As it stands, I lost an additional 1.5 pounds last week, for a cumulative total of 33.5 pounds in 17 weeks. That’s an average of 1.97 pounds a week! (Which is nothing to sneeze at.) Since I’m feeling much better, I’m optimistic and can’t wait for next week.

    Haha! I’m CRAZY about cheese too! For cravings, I try to stay satiated with plenty of protein-rich snacks because it seems to curb my appetite. I snack on little light Babybel cheese, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. I’ll also munch flavored almonds in the afternoon, and that seems to cut down on the munchies a lot! I miss my 22 year-old metabolism too!
