bareMinerals Crystallized Full Face Collection Review, Photos, Swatches

bareminerals crystallized holiday collection

Tis the season for gorgeous holiday palettes, and bareMinerals never lets me down. One of the latest is the new Crystallized Full Face Collection, and it contains eight pretty products to make your holidays glisten.

Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss in Hypnotist

Never one to skimp on the sets, bareMinerals included all full size products for eyes, lips, and cheeks in a keepsake tin.

What’s inside:

  • Mesmerized Liner Shadow in Dark Charcoal
  • Steam Eyecolor in Metallic Silver Shimmer
  • Golden Gate Radiance All-Over Face Color
  • bareMinerals READY® Eyeshadow 2.0, The Magic Wand in Presto (almond satin) and Abracadabra (shimmering slate)
  • Marvelous Moxie™ Lipstick in Break Away (luscious mauve)
  •  Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Hypnotist (holographic violet-peach)
  • Lash Domination™ 10-in-1 Volumizing Mascara in Intense Black
  • Double-Ended Shade and Line Brush

I have to start with the Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss in Hypnotist. It is SO gorgeous, believe me. The only thing is, it’s nearly impossible to photograph in swatches or on my lips. It has such a pretty iridescence to it that you have to see in person! If you haven’t tried a Marvelous Moxie gloss, they’re aptly named (as are the lipsticks), because they feel so cushioning on the lips without any stickiness. There’s a slight vanilla-mint scent and fragrance to them which I don’t notice after a few minutes. Hypnotist makes a nice solo color to add some iridescence to the lips, but I like it for enhancing lipsticks, like in the swatches below where I put it over the Marvelous Moxie Lipstick.

The Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Break Away is a nice mauve with a luscious creamy texture that is absolutely non-drying. They’re loaded with hydrating ingredients and antioxidants for the perfect pucker. My lips feel baby soft with I wear a Marvelous Moxie Lipstick, and they also contain Vitamins A, C, and E for an added treat. If you don’t get this get set, PLEASE get a Marvelous Moxie Lipstick at some point. Your lips will thank you.

For face, bareMinerals has included the All-Over Face Color in Golden Gate Radiance. I love this for adding a little flush to my cheeks and just a teeny amount to the bridge of my nose for highlight and to balance color. I love wearing their All-Over Face Colors because it looks like there’s just something pretty on my skin, a nice back-lit glow, not necessarily that I’m “wearing makeup”. This warm peach looks a bit like NARS Orgasm on my cheeks if I build it up. These jars seemingly last me forever.

The liner eyeshadow in Mesmerized is extremely pigmented, and picks up perfectly with the liner end of the included brush. It’s kind of cool because it’s rubberized, and I don’t make nearly as big of a mess with it as I usually do. Mesmerized is a dark charcoal with just a touch of shimmer, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever even come close to finishing a liner shadow from bareMinerals because the colors are so rich.

Steam is an icy silver shade, and it’s a loose pigment. I wouldn’t wear this as a single shadow, but it makes a pretty highlight effect when I pair it with The Magic Show READY Eyeshadow 2.0 that I’ll show you below!

Ahh! One of my favorite products from bareMinerals are their READY eyeshadows. The Magic Show is a pressed duo with a shimmering almond shade (Presto), and a shimmering slate shade (Abracadabra). The pressed shadows are every bit as pigmented as bareMinerals’ loose eyecolors, and I LOVE them all. They’re silky, the texture is amazing, and the pigment payoff is consistently incredible. These feel like a cream, but apply like a shadow, and contain anti-aging ingredients like cold pressed borage oil and cucumber. This is another purchase I recommend for you if you don’t decide to get this set. Look into the READY eyeshadow series!

Lash Domination is one of bareMinerals’ latest mascaras, and it’s a volumizing mascara with quinoa and a protein complex for lash nourishment and conditioning. For me Lash Domination gives a nice amount of volume, but more than anything it pushes my lashes up and curls them, holding all day. I like the intensity of the black, and it has a pretty wicked 180° curve brush. A nice addition!

As an added bonus, you’ll score this dual-ended brush with a rubber eyeliner tip on one end, and a full-size eyeshadow brush on the other. This is a nice brush, no skimping here.
