More Urban Decay summer goodness! These are the brand new Beached Bronzers, which just launched yesterday. They’ll be at other beauty retailers soon, but if you can’t live without these matte beauties, they’re $28 each on sephora.com now.
If you swore off powder bronzers because they always felt dry and applied unevenly, you’ll be blown away by how different Beached Bronzer is. Wende loves to use this formula after contouring to make her skin look less flat and more dimensional. Finely milling the powder gives it an ultra creamy texture that feels amazing on your skin. And wait until you see how easy it is to use! Apply Beached Bronzer dry, or try it wet for even longer wear. Either way, you get a foolproof, streak-free application that leaves you with a perfect glow. Our innovative, versatile powder formula works great for contouring too.
Note: nails are Essie in “Shade On“, glitter was from my nail tech!
I love a good matte bronzer, because they’re great for contouring, adding a little color, and they usually don’t compete with your highlighter. (Like the Afterglow Highlighter Powders I reviewed yesterday.) I don’t know if you remember the UD Baked Bronzers they released a long time ago (2011), but these are TOTALLY different!
- Sun-Kissed — matte light-medium bronze
- Bronzed — matte medium-dark bronze
The Beached Bronzers are super smooth to the touch, very creamy, and don’t feel or look powdery to me once blended on my skin. I think both shades are pretty universal, but that will depend on how you intend to wear them. For right now — since we’re just getting to spring — I’ll stick with Sun-Kissed. Once summer nears, I’ll kick it up a notch with Bronzed. I appreciate that these don’t look streaky or orange!
Will you be picking up either of these matte bronzers?
