There are a LOT of highlighting products out right now, and there’s so much internet love going on for them. But see these babies? They have been creating a frenzy among those who love to strobe. The best part? They’re $3.99. The not-so-best part? I know people who have been to as many as eight (yes, EIGHT!) drugstores looking for them, and they didn’t exactly emerge victorious. Many other people are stalking drugstores too. (Umm, I also just saw a listing on eBay for $28!)
These are the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powders, and simply put, they are AWESOME. The pigmentation is perfection, the glow they give is JLo-worthy, a little goes a long way, and the price point is fantastic. There are two shades from the summer collection; Precious Petals (champagne), and Crown of My Canopy (copper bronze). I wear Precious Petals to add points of light to my face — lightly along the bridge on my nose, on top of my cheek bones, and right above my cupid’s bow on my top lip. Crown of My Canopy is just a tad too copper for my fair skin, but I can imagine it looking amazing on darker skin tones.

See what I mean? These drugstore highlighters rival prestige brands. My only regret is that I didn’t have them to show you when they may have been a little easier to find. But hopefully, a Wet n Wild website re-stock will be soon! And in a perfect world, they would be part of the permanent collection. (I know so many of you agree!)
