I’ve had a sneak peek of this for several weeks, and I’m so sorry for keeping it from you! IT Cosmetics The Romantics Naturally Pretty Matte Palette with brush has launched on QVC, so I wanted to share its beauty!
The Romantics Palette contains 14 beautiful, limited edition shades with a large pan of Transforming Pearl eyeshadow. You guys, the texture is SO smooth and silky, and I have no problems blending with minimal fallout. (A little fallout came with darker shades like Mystery and Fate.) This pretty palette also comes with one of IT Cosmetics’ famous eyeshadow brushes. If you haven’t treated yourself to an IT brush yet, you don’t know what you’re missing!
An IT Cosmetics brush has plush, synthetic fibers that are soft and gentle on your skin, but they pick up pigment for me like no one’s business. (When you buy this set, the brush only comes with it if you buy from QVC.)
The exterior has a soft touch, flocked velvet finish, and the palette is sturdy and closes with a magnet — I’d say it’s safe for travel.
From IT Cosmetics…
Utilizing cutting-edge technology, these anti-aging eyeshadows instantly diffuse the look of lines and wrinkles on your eyes and lids. Lush matte pigment glides over the lids and your eyes are treated to anti-aging ingredients, such as as hydrolyzed collagen, acai, green tea and Vitamins A, C, & E and free of all the ingredients that make eyes appear older such as talc. This palette features the “Transforming Pearl” that instantly creates a new pearlized color when you add over the matte color you love!
While all of these shades are matte, I don’t think they look chalky on my eyelids — especially when I experiment with the nearly endless looks I can get, just by swiping on a little Transforming Pearl. The combinations are plenty, and so far I haven’t worn the same look twice.
Peaceful — soft matte taupe

(My skin is a little on the dry side right now, these shadows aren’t as chalky as they may seem in swatches, in my humble opinion!)
As of this moment, it’s sold out on QVC (approx. $43.50 when in stock), but it is currently available on the IT Cosmetics site for $42 (NO BRUSH INCLUDED.) Try checking back on the QVC site soon, don’t give up hope — this is a beauty!
