Not only is it National Lipstick Day today — but the number one post on Beauty Junkies Unite right now is about the new Urban Decay VICE Lipstick Collection. So I thought it was only fitting that I told you about this watercolor tattoo, created exclusively by Urban Decay and NYC tattoo artist, Georgia Grey.
In honor of one of my own favorite “holidays”, massive Urban Decay junkies can have this limited design inked for life — to profess that lipstick is indeed their vice. Georgia is at Bang Bang Tattoos, and her watercolor work mesmerizes me. This technique reveals a unique result that’s absolutely stunning on the skin.
From Urban Decay…
Georgia used a bold line to show her love for traditional images that can be seen a mile away… just like a bold lip that pops from afar. The watercolor is a loose medium, which Georgia used to reflect the desire to wear every color in the 100-shade lineup, and to mimic the feel of graffiti in an urban setting. Georgia created a piece inspired by the individual setting themselves apart – whether it’s permanently inked or wiped off at the end of the day.
Beauty is such a big part of my life, that if I lived in New York, I would get a small version of this tattoo! I’ve also been wearing Urban Decay for almost 20 years — so I guess you could say I’m pretty obsessed. 😉 Feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org, or stop by the shop to set up a free consult to book your appointment with Georgia.
New York City, I’m so jealous of you right now.
